If you aren't minding your own business who is?......
"Minding your own Business", may sound selfish to you right now, and this phrase has gotten me into a bit of trouble lately.Truthfully, it's a misunderstanding of the use and context that is creating the confusion. This is a new way of thinking for some, and so it doesn't come naturally at first. It feels awkward and it may take a lot of awareness, and self questioning at first and in time it does become second nature. The phrase has more to do with the perception of the statement, rather than the actual meaning which makes perfect sense once understood. Basically and simply it's taking care of yourself before you can do the same for anyone else. Another way of looking at it would be putting on your own oxygen mask first before you helping anyone else if you were in an airplane, or with whatever other situation you can think of. This principle is explained so thoroughly and so to the point by Byron Katie, that once you can truly understand the meaning, you can create miracles.

Your own business, means looking after yourself, and your interests first.
In All Aspects of your Life. It also means learning to love yourself unconditionally and being aware of your intent. Your intent creates the energy. "Leading by example, and being the change." Your intent creates positive results, immediately if you are willing to do the work, and practice changing your thoughts and perceptions. The most important for me as a parent are the change in my relationship with my children. It has nothing to do with changing my children s behavior although yes, (sometimes I wish this could be, since it would be much easier, just not the best intent.)They were and are my motivation.More communication, and more positive interactions have been created when I change my thoughts. (Not there thoughts).
Minding my own business, is my responsibility, and falls into place as I continue to learn and to take action. In all aspects of my life. Taking Responsibility for your actions makes it possible for you to begin trusting your decisions and allows you to make the changes you desire, and when you truly understand this concept you will begin to understand more of who you are
