Hillman's theory would assist parent's in recognizing their children's strengths while allowing their true gifts to come through. Being consciously aware of the uniqueness we all bring, and learning to see our children as unique individuals who unique way of learning is part of their souls purpose. Intuitively we do know our children best, and when we trust our own instincts and begin to look within we realize we already have the answers.As we accept responsibility, and begin to recognize our own souls purpose we begin to recognize it in others too, and would begin to encourage this uniqueness rather than stifle it. As a parent, we are what makes a difference to our own children, and it is never too late. Having this information while your child is still in their developmental stage is a great opportunity. Having this information if your child is struggling with learning difficulties can be the opportunity for you to encourage their self esteem and self worth. Knowledge, means you can do this at any time and only you can do this. This opportunity and knowledge will nourish you and you will nourish your child in the process. All of us bear the uniqueness that asks to be lived. Listen with your heart, and ask yourself what you see. Remember, it's never too late. Feelings of guilt are another form of Fear. When you feel guilt it stops you from taking the steps to change what you intuitively know within yourself. When you feel guilt you are living in the past, and afraid of the future. It requires coming back to the present. Our children are a reflection of us. Our children create opportunities for us to heal our past and move on. Our children bring up the child within us all and thanks to our children we can parent differently. Our children remind us of how to play and dream. In doing so, they remind us of our own innocence, and how important our innocence is to our own success in life. Awaken your soul and your purpose will be revealed 
This begins with each of us individually, and from there it ripples into our surrounding environment. Our immediate environment would be our closest connections, our partners, our children, our families. What if as parent's we use this to parent our children so that we support them and assist them in discovering their soul purpose? Allowing them to emerge and grow? Get ready to embark on the most exciting and accelerating journey of your life. You can begin to see you life in this way.
