The Power of Giving
The Power of Giving
unconditionally without expecting anything in return requires that you also learn the ability of receiving.Letting go of form and outcome may allow you to receive the gifts that come from unconditional love. Notice if you give with conditions, or expect to receive something in return. We always receive what we give out, and sometimes we miss the acceptance of the gift, because we were expecting to receive it in a certain way, by a certain time, or by a certain person. This is form and outcome, and whenever we expect something in return, the Universe always delivers. The problem is that we miss the opening of the window, because we keep staring at the closed door.
"The Smile"....
"Spread Love everywhere you go: first of all in your own house. Give love to your children, to your wife, husband, or partner, to a next door neighbour...Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier. Be the living expression of God's kindness; kindness in your face, kindness in your eyes, kindness in your smile, kindness in your warm greeting." A quote By Mother Teresa
LOVE IS UNCONDITIONAL
What would your life look like if in all of our relationships, we remembered The Power of Giving Through The SMILE? Giving to others what we most want in our own lives is something we can all begin to share, no matter how difficult it may seem. Even as you notice yourself in the midst of an emotional reaction, and trigger, you can begin to change your mind, and use your
power and love
to join and connect, with yourself. It may take a great deal of practice, and yet the ability to give without form and outcome, requires that you give to yourself the gift of
self love.
As you give to others what you most want to see in your life, you can begin to notice the gifts that come from your experiences.
The Power of Giving
requires your ability to receive. This change of perception and removing the lenses from which you see your world, brings to you the ability to notice your life through the changes of your mind.
As we give unconditionally, we learn how to gratefully receive.
Have you ever asked yourself the real reason you give to others. Do you give so others will like you. Do you want to be noticed. Do you want to be loved? What happens inside of you when you give? These questions are meant to encourage you to check in with yourself, and to help you become aware of your actions. There is no right or wrong answer, just an awareness that may help you tune in to your own emotions and feelings. The reason receiving can be so challenging is that no matter how much you receive unless you accept the gift, it's never really received. You may not know what you already have until it's gone. For many it is easier to give than to receive. It is very difficult to receive, if you believe that you are not worthy or deserving. You can change your sense of worthiness and deserving as you continue to find the balance in your sense of self. Giving to others is easy for some of us, and yet until we learn to receive, we can not feel the joy which comes from the giving, without any form and outcome. Begin to give to others unconditionally what you most want to receive. Feel the gratitude and the love which comes back to you. So, the next time someone gives you a compliment, don't deny, just accept it, and say thank you with love and acceptance for who you are.
