What to do when feeling Anxious

Being anxious or worried about something is a fear thought, and my question to you is How willing are you to sit in it, and allow the feelings to surface? Are you willing to sit in your discomfort?

This anxious feeling is your OPPORTUNITY to look at the feelings which bring up this anxiety. Resisting, suppressing and ignoring these feelings can continue to intensify your anxiety.

So many times we jump into the future, believing our stories, and making them real. We continue to unconsciously resist what could actually be to our highest good. It is easy? No, it takes a commitment, and at first a lot of effort to stay focused on the present moment. In time however, like anything else it does become second nature.

Here is a simple and easy exercise for you to use through out your day. Use it every time you find yourself coming up with these anxious scenarios. Come back to your self, and use all the resources and tools you have in your possession.......

Just BREATHE... Even if it's only for 10 seconds, even if you hear your thoughts saying I don't have time for this.... just breath.....and focus on your breath.....once you have inhaled and exhaled a few times, say to yourself out loud "There is only this moment, and this moment is perfect...."

You have nothing to do, fix or stop. Just focus and use this simple little exercise every single time you catch yourself in the future. Your thoughts create your reality, and the goal is to bring you back to yourself..... You can change what no longer serves you, with love, and acceptance, rather than resistance and suppression.

In time you can ask yourself the question "What am I afraid of? What would happen if I allowed this anxious feeling to take over?

What most people find is that anticipation is actually worse than allowing these feelings to surface. Just accept them, they are a part of you, and when you recognize they no longer serve you, you can let go, with the intention of finding something that does.

Notice and recognize the opportunity for you at this time, could be to recognize the feeling, and recognize what was was going on just before you notice this anxious feeling.

What were you doing? Who were you with? What was being said? Write everything down. What were you thoughts? Were you feeling any judgments, blame or guilt? Notice these feelings, because they come from your own core beliefs, and they create thoughts which you can change as you change the way you see things.

The feelings you get which create this anxiety, you have felt many times before. They are old and they go back to your own childhood. The reason you continue to feel them is because it may be time to heal those old wounds and your anxiety is the opportunity for you to notice. As you heal these feelings and see them with new eyes, you may notice your anxious feelings beginning to subside, and the more you focus on allowing your feelings to surface, you may find that you live your life with calmness, and peace.

Tools to help you:

There are an abundance of resources to help you, and when you discover something that works you will know. I discovered Psych-K a few years ago, and I thought I had struck gold! I attended several workshops and was ecstatic about how easy this tool is to find those subconscious beliefs which we may not even be aware of and then actually balance them so that they are in alignment with our whole being. Core belief balances can be used to determine what messages your anxiety have for you. There could be very important messages in these feelings and with Psych K your higher self is the one who determines the messages. You are completely in control. If you are curious about:

What core beliefs your Anxious feelings may be drawing your attention to, you may want to explore Psych-K. Just click the link above, and it will take you directly to the main website.

We all have subconscious beliefs we may not be aware of, and once we discover the beliefs and balance them, we create a shift in our own energy. Painlessly, quickly, and vibrationally!

Anxiety can be a subconscious fear based belief, which Psych-K can help you with. As you discover the message and opportunity, you can then balance for this. Psych-K is one of the easiest ways to connect with your own higher self, your own energy, and discover your self limited beliefs. There are many ways to reconnect and Psych-K is the fastest way I've found.

Another resource is see this anxiety as the way your own inner child is asking for your attention. Are you taking time for you? There are many meditations and information on inner child work, and the best person I know for this is John Bradshaw. So bottom line is to explore, and find something that works for you. You will sense this from within.
